Meet Fred and Cindy
Fred and Cindy have been serving Christ together since they first met in 1982. Since that time they have spent more than 30 yeas serving and pastoring local churches until their call to the mission field in 2015. In 2016 they moved to Africa full time to bring gospel transformation to the heart of Malawi.
Fred and Cindy have been so blessed with five children: Ashley, who lives with her husband Jerod and their son Carter in Grand Rapids, Michigan; Kiersten who is an educator working and living in Minneapolis Minnesota; Bethany works in retail management in Bloomington, MN preparing for a career in International Development; Emily begins training this winter at New Life International School of Midwifery in the Philippines to prepare for her calling to missions sharing the gospel through midwifery and women's health.; Isaiah just turned 18 and has lived with Fred and Cindy in Malawi but has most recently been completing his High School education at Rift Valley Academy in Kijabe, Kenya.

Malawi is routinely classified
by the World Bank as one of the poorest countries in the world, In spite of this, it’s people are incredibly creative, hope-filled and resilient.
Malawi's greatest need is
Malawians who are transformed by the gospel, equipped and empowered to bring change to their homes, churches, communities and nation.
Women and children are
routinely overlooked and disempowered by traditional culture but with love, training and confidence they can rise in hope and impact their world.

Making Disciples
Helping Malawians draw closer to Christ one step at a time, we build healthy relationships and make disciples who make disciples. Disciple-making is our core passion and the task that runs through everything we do! Ministries such as Beyond Sports, Tabitha Centers, Follow me vocational training for young men and Entrepreneurship training are all avenues for making disciples who make disciples.
Multiplying Transformational Leaders
Raising up Malawians with a heart to bring gospel change to their world, we identify, develop, empower and release leaders to transform communities and multiply healthy churches throughout Malawi. We do this through many different programs including CIM internships, our Leadership Table program and the Transformational Leader Course.
Establishing Church planting movements in Malawi and beyond
Equipping Malawians to plant healthy churches, we are birthing a church planting movement built on the foundation of a biblical world view demonstrating the kingdom of God through servanthood, humility, sacrifice, authentic love, and a passion to make Christ known. We bring revitalization to churches by training church leaders in disciple making and leadership skills and planting healthy churches in Lilongwe and beyond.
